I didn’t expect much the first time I opened this simple little browser game called Eggy Car. It looked harmless. Cute, even. A tiny car. A fragile egg sitting on top. Rolling hills. Soft colors.

“How hard could it be?” I thought.
About five minutes later, I was leaning forward in my chair, jaw clenched, whispering: “Don’t. Drop. The. Egg.”
That’s when I knew this game had me.
The First Five Minutes: “Oh, This Is Easy!”
If you’ve never played it, the concept is beautifully simple. You drive a small car across bumpy terrain while balancing an egg on top. There are no complicated controls. Just accelerate and brake. That’s it.
No power-ups flying everywhere.
No enemies attacking you.
No complicated story.
Just you, a car, gravity… and one very breakable egg.
The first few hills feel manageable. The car moves slowly. The egg wiggles a little but stays put. I remember actually smiling and thinking, “Okay, this is relaxing.”
